Intensive Supported Living
Staff support is provided to a
maximum of four people sharing a
home in the community. Staff is
trained to support people with
difficulties. At night, staff are awake
and required to respond when
needed. Each person has their own
room. The people go to school, work
in the community or attend local day
programs. Supportive training is
provided to each person in the home,
based on their needs and personal
goals. Rent and household expenses
are paid by the people living in the
home. The individuals use the public
bus system or para-transit system for
transportation.
Transitional Supported Living
(house)
Staffing is provided for a
maximum of four people sharing a
home in the community. Each
person has their own room. The
people go to school or attend local
day programs. Supportive training
is provided to each person in the
home based on their needs and
personal goals. Rent and
household expenses are paid for by
the people living in the home.
Asleep staff stay in the home at
night and respond when needed.
